Ten Minutes Drawing
Following an injury in 2021, I was advised to change my art technique for two months. I injured my arm while sleeping, causing an ulnar nerve compression that left me with two fingers without any sensation.
Over the next two months, while I recovered, I had to take a long break from my everyday work and drawing. I was only able to draw for half an hour at most, so I made the most of my limited time by creating a series of portraits of famous people in just ten minutes, searching for the faster way to express my lines and style.
Once I went back to my usual linework, I treasured this experience, preserving an expressive synthesis in my later works.
