solo exhibition: Extra + Ordinary Journey, Museum 209, Seoul, South Korea

Three Lands is a pop-up installation, a reflection on our contemporary times and the intricacies of our world and society. Three distinct lands are portrayed, inhabited by diverse peoples. Each land boasts its own capital, architecture, flora, and culture. Despite being separated by the sea, the lands interact, staging conflicts, migrations, and borders. The boundaries of the lands extend beyond the sea, marking their conflicts. Beyond the Three Lands lie three peripheral territories where nature thrives and endangered species find refuge. In the Three Lands, only the presence of animals raised in intensive farming conditions remains, leading to the emergence of harmful blue organisms. At the center of the composition, three individuals gather in a bubble, symbolizing unity among the peoples. However, in the wider political context, the bubble remains merely a minor and private aspect.
